DweliTrax hardware — including the DweliHub and all Bluetooth pucks — is leased to subscribers as part of an active DweliTrax subscription. This policy explains how the lease works, what happens when a subscription ends, and the fees that apply if hardware is not returned.
1. Hardware ownership
All DweliTrax hardware shipped to subscribers remains the property of DweliTrax at all times. Subscribers receive a non-transferable license to use the hardware for the duration of an active, paid subscription. Hardware may not be sold, gifted, modified, or transferred to another party.
2. Return obligation upon cancellation
When a DweliTrax subscription is cancelled for any reason, the subscriber is required to return all leased hardware within 30 days of the cancellation date. This includes the DweliHub unit and all Bluetooth pucks originally shipped to the subscriber.
DweliTrax will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email within 2 business days of cancellation. Hardware must be packed securely and dropped off with the designated carrier within the 30-day window.
Note: The 30-day return window begins on the date your subscription is cancelled, not the date you receive the return label. We recommend initiating the return as soon as you receive the label.
3. Non-return fees
If hardware is not returned within the 30-day window, DweliTrax will charge the payment method on file the following non-return fees:
| Item | Non-return fee |
| DweliHub (per unit) | $160.00 |
| Bluetooth puck (per unit) | $25.00 |
Fees are charged per individual item not returned. For example, a subscriber on the Home plan who returns the hub but not 3 pucks would be charged $75.00 (3 × $25). A subscriber who returns nothing would be charged the full kit fee based on their plan.
Example maximum fees by plan: Starter (1 hub + 4 pucks) — up to $260 · Home (1 hub + 12 pucks) — up to $460 · Family+ (2 hubs + pucks per quantity shipped) — $320 hub fee plus $25 per unreturned puck.
4. Hardware condition
Returned hardware is expected to be in reasonable working condition, accounting for normal wear from everyday household use. DweliTrax reserves the right to assess a damage fee for hardware returned in a condition beyond normal use — including cracked enclosures, water damage, or missing components. Subscribers will be notified of any damage assessment within 10 business days of receiving the return.
5. Lost or stolen hardware
Subscribers are responsible for hardware in their possession. If hardware is lost or stolen, the subscriber should contact DweliTrax support as soon as possible. Lost or stolen hardware that is not returned within the 30-day cancellation window will be subject to the non-return fees outlined in Section 3.
6. Subscription pauses and plan changes
Pausing a subscription does not trigger a return obligation, provided the subscription remains in an active or paused state. Downgrading a plan that reduces the number of included pucks may require partial hardware return — DweliTrax will contact the subscriber with instructions if this applies.
7. Agreement to this policy
By completing signup and activating a DweliTrax subscription, subscribers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Hardware Lease & Return Policy. This policy is incorporated by reference into the DweliTrax Terms of Service.
